Marettimo Residence
The Marettimo Residence is the only hotel structure on the island, built respecting the environment and typical island construction.
Numerous measures were adopted in the construction of the structure biocompatible measures such as furnishing with natural materials, i solar panels for water heating, a photovoltaic system with energy storage, an ultraviolet ray system to purify water, separate waste collection andcommitment to eliminate plastic and single doses.
The real strong point of the Marettimo Residence is the water source used for irrigating the Mediterranean garden, the vegetable patch and for filling the swimming pools, so as not to burden the availability of drinking water.
The beauty of the island of Marettimo requires that tourism also be eco-aware and eco-available, so as not to compromise the already precarious balance between man and nature.
Structure
The Marettimo Residence overlooks the sea, about 200 meters from the town. It consists of 40 holiday homes: 10 studio apartments, 10 two-room apartments, 10 three-room apartments, 8 junior suites and 2 suites completely surrounded by greenery and perfectly integrated into the landscape of the island of Marettimo.
Each apartment has:
– a veranda or terrace furnished with table, chairs and deckchairs;
– a living room with dining table and sofa bed (with the exception of studio apartments);
– a fully equipped kitchen area with dishes, electric hob, fridge and freezer;
– one or two bedrooms (with the exception of studio apartments);
- television;
– bathroom with hairdryer;
- safe-deposit box;
– blade fan;
– air conditioner (paid service).
The splendid Mediterranean garden which embraces the residence is then equipped with a gazebo and barbecue, wood-burning oven, outdoor kitchen, children's play area, pool heated with two hot tubs and a large one Jacuzzi located in the highest area of the garden, near the Pagoda Hall, for events and meetings, from which you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the sea and the islands of Favignana and Levanzo.
The residence formula includes the consumption of water and electricity as well as bed linen and towels.
